CER Cargo Holding SE, the European Company, has unveiled its ambitious 2024 business plan during the recent Board of Directors’ meeting held on January 24. With a substantial increase in profit expectations compared to the previous year, the expansion into Poland and Romania, coupled with intensified acquisition activities in existing countries, has set the stage for the Group’s robust financial outlook.

In a strategic move, the Board has greenlit plans to establish new subsidiaries in Austria and Germany, aligning seamlessly with the Group’s existing operations in six EU countries. Business operations in these new territories are anticipated to commence in the fourth quarter. Additionally, Árpád Csíki has been appointed as the new Managing Director for the Romanian subsidiary. He was tasked with spearheading operations and ensuring effective resource mobilization following the Group’s acquisition of the right to operate freight trains in Romania.
