CMA CGM Group has introduced the FRENCH PEAK SERVICE, an exceptional seasonal shipping service, to address the surge in demand for maritime transport between Asia, Northern Europe, and the Mediterranean. From June 30 to early September, seven additional vessels with a capacity of 7,000 TEUs will depart bi-weekly from China to various destinations, including Northern Europe (Le Havre, Antwerp) and the Mediterranean (Fos-sur-Mer, Malta). The first departure, featuring the vessel APL OREGON, is set for June 30 from Yantian.

This extraordinary measure boosts capacity by 25% on this highly sought-after route, particularly benefiting CMA CGM’s French clients. The FRENCH PEAK SERVICE will rotate every 15 days between Yantian, Vung Tau, Singapore, Le Havre, Antwerp, and back to China, or alternatively, between Shekou, Vung Tau, Singapore, Fos-sur-Mer, Malta, and back to China. The service includes additional calls at the ports of Le Havre and Fos-sur-Mer, enhancing service to France and better meeting the needs of French importers and exporters.

By launching this new service, CMA CGM demonstrates its agility in adapting to customer demand and its commitment to supporting clients in managing supply chain challenges amidst disruptions in major maritime routes.
