DHL Express and Central Airlines have entered into an agreement for two Boeing 777s.

DHL Express plans to operate two Boeing 777 freighters in partnership with Central Airlines under a multi-year operating agreement.

DHL Express has signed a letter of intent with Central Airlines (HLF/I9) to operate two B777 freighters. This will be the first time that DHL Express will partner with a local Chinese cargo airline. The aircraft will be painted in the dual livery of DHL and Central Airlines. The B777 freighter has the longest payload and range of any twin-engine aircraft, reducing CO2 emissions by 18 percent compared to the legacy B747-400.

Today, DHL Express operates more than 300 aircraft covering 220 countries and territories. Central Airlines, in turn, operates more than 10 B737F and B777F cargo aircraft and serves over 40 domestic and international routes.
