In the third quarter of 2025, DHL Group reported profit growth despite ongoing trade tensions. Revenue decreased by 2.3% to €20.1 billion (Q3 2024: €20.6 billion), primarily due to currency fluctuations and lower freight volumes on US routes.
Operating profit (EBIT) increased by 7.6% to €1.5 billion, and the EBIT margin reached 7.3%, compared to 6.7% a year earlier. This improvement was driven by active capacity management, structural cost improvements, and tariff adjustments.
Free cash flow (excluding M&A) amounted to €1.2 billion, almost double the figure for the same period in 2024. Management reiterates its 2025 outlook: EBIT of at least €6 billion and free cash flow of approximately €3 billion. CEO Tobias Meyer emphasized that the company is prepared for strong seasonal growth at the end of the year.
