Logistics company Emons has announced the acquisition of a strategic stake in the LDB Group, with retroactive effect from 1 January. The German operator, based in Baden, unites the companies LDB Logistik and LDB Transport and has around 100 employees. The management of the business will remain with the current CEO Thorsten Felmoser.
The LDB Group operates in Bühl and Rastatt and specialises in warehouse logistics, hazardous goods transport, contract packaging, store logistics and transport services. Its fleet consists of 30 vehicles, including an electric eActros 300. The company recently expanded the hazardous materials warehouse in Bühl to 8,100 pallet spaces and modernised the fire protection system.
Emons CEO Ralf Wieland and LDB CEO Thorsten Felmoser confirmed that the companies will continue to operate under joint management, using the synergies for further growth and development.
