Framework agreements for the supply of microducts and cable ducts for the Rail Baltica project, a key cross-border high-speed rail project, have entered into force for the first time. Contracts have been signed with Höhle OÜ for the microducts and Pipelife Eesti AS for the cable ducts, ensuring long-term cooperation and ensuring that all materials meet strict safety and engineering standards.

Höhle OÜ, a leading manufacturer of microducts in the Baltics and part of HellermannTyton, is expanding its production capacity and is ready for large-scale deliveries. Pipelife Eesti AS, part of the international Pipelife brand, has also completed all inspections and is ready to supply the entire supply chain. The materials protect power and communication cables along the railway, ensuring a safe, durable, and easy-to-maintain installation.

According to Rail Baltica management, these agreements open up opportunities for local manufacturers, create jobs, and generate economic benefits for the regions through which the high-speed rail passes. The total maximum value of the agreements is €1.13 billion, including the supply of materials for the entire infrastructure. The next stage of the framework agreements will cover rails, sleepers, ballast, and other key components of the railway track.
