Europa Road, part of Europa Worldwide Group, announced the launch of Europe’s first daily circular service between the UK and Portugal, strengthening its position in the European logistics market. The new route, created in partnership with the Portuguese company XBS in Porto, provides daily shipments—from LTL to full-truckload—with a focus on speed, reliability, and flexibility. Europa’s transit hub in Dartford already handles over 40,000 shipments per month and supports door-to-door delivery through a network of 42 European hubs.
The growth of British exports to Portugal, expected to reach £4 billion by mid-2025, is creating strong demand for faster and more flexible logistics solutions. Europa’s investments in modern digital systems and customs services ensure seamless trade, including through its proprietary Europa Flow DDP service, which minimizes the complexities created by Brexit.
The launch of a daily service between the UK and Portugal aims to strengthen trade ties, reduce transit times, and increase transparency for UK customers. This further cements Europa Road’s status as one of Europe’s key logistics operators.
