Euroports has announced a 25-year extension of its concession for Terminal Rinfuse Venezia (TRV) in the port of Marghera. The new agreement with the North Adriatic Ports Authority secures Euroports’ long-term presence in Venice and confirms the company’s commitment to the region.

As part of its modernization strategy, Euroports and the port authorities are planning to expand the terminal’s infrastructure, increase its storage capacity and improve rail connections. Particular attention is paid to sustainability, with the company aiming to digitalize its operations and reduce its environmental footprint. One of its key goals is to increase the share of rail transport to 30% of total cargo turnover, thereby reducing the burden on roads and emissions.

“We are pleased to continue our work in the port of Marghera and, together with the port authorities, to make Terminal Rinfuse Venezia a more efficient, greener and important logistics hub for the Adriatic,” said Pablo García, Managing Director of Euroports in the Mediterranean Region.
