From week 26, Finnlines will include the Polish port of Gdynia in its regular North Sea service, expanding its connections to key European markets – Belgium, France, the UK, Spain and Finland. The new route will provide Polish shippers with direct access to the global Grimaldi Group network.
The line operates three hybrid Finneco class vessels, capable of transporting both standard and oversized and non-standard cargo. In addition, Finnlines uses 80-foot mafi trailers with integrated rails for the transportation of rail vehicles and specialised equipment.
The company places an emphasis on sustainability: according to the company, choosing sea shipping via the so-called “Green Line” can reduce CO₂ emissions by up to 90% compared to road transport, offering an efficient and environmentally friendly alternative.
