HPC Hamburg Port Consulting, together with Prodevelop and Plisk Consulting, announced the completion of the audit of the National Maritime Single Window (MSW) system in Georgia. This innovative digital platform, compliant with the requirements of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and the European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA), has become a key step in the modernization of the country’s logistics. More than 400 participants in the Georgian maritime industry are already using the system, which has eliminated paper processes, increased transparency of operations and improved cooperation between agencies, strengthening Georgia’s status as a logistics hub of the Middle Corridor.

MSW positions Georgia among the leaders of regional maritime innovations, simplifying communication between port operators, ship agents and authorities. The system eliminates duplicate processes, reduces administrative burdens and increases efficiency. With integration with international standards and readiness for connection to SafeSeaNet, the project contributes to Georgia’s competitiveness on a global level.

Director of the Georgian Maritime Transport Agency Alexei Akhvlediani noted that MSW is the first step towards the digital transformation of the country’s maritime industry. The system will simplify information exchange, improve operational security and become the basis for further growth of Georgian logistics. The implementation of MSW is the result of HPC’s successful partnership with Prodevelop and Plisk Consulting, demonstrating a strategic approach to the development of national maritime infrastructure.
