In Aktau, a meeting was held between the seaport management and the delegation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, dedicated to the development of economic cooperation between the countries. The central topic of discussion was the initiative to create a trade and distribution center that will be able to promote Uzbek products on the Kazakhstan market and ensure the transshipment of goods to third countries.
The port representatives presented in detail the infrastructure capabilities and key aspects of their work, emphasizing the port’s potential for the implementation of large-scale joint projects. The initiative of the trade and distribution center is considered an important step in the development of regional logistics and trade ties.
“This will lay the foundation for successful and long-term cooperation, strengthening economic and logistical ties between the fraternal countries,” – noted the President of JSC NC Aktau International Sea Trade Port Abay Turikpenbayev.
The parties expressed their readiness for further cooperation, noting the importance of the platform for strengthening the export potential of Uzbekistan and expanding the logistics capabilities of Kazakhstan.
