Rhenus Offshore Logistics and XERVON Wind have forged a resilient partnership aimed at ensuring the seamless operation and maintenance of offshore wind turbines across the North Sea and Baltic Sea. With a focus on delivering sustainable electricity to numerous households annually, the collaboration leverages XERVON Wind’s expertise in servicing and maintenance, complemented by Rhenus Offshore Logistics’ comprehensive logistics solutions encompassing port transportation, crew transfers, and maritime coordination.

On March 18th, the Port of Argentia in Canada and the Hamburg Port Authority (HPA) in Germany entered into a Letter of Intent (LOI) aimed at enhancing cooperation in the export and import of green hydrogen between the two countries. The agreement was signed by CEOs Scott Penney of the Port of Argentia and Jens Meier of HPA during the Canada-Germany Hydrogen and Ammonia Producer-Offtaker Conference held in Hamburg.

The completion of the final phase of Certified Pick up (CPu) implementation at container terminals before the locks on February 19 marks a significant milestone for Antwerp’s container transport. This digitalization initiative enhances both safety and transparency in the logistics chain, representing a pivotal moment for the industry. Efforts are now focused on integrating terminals beyond the locks into the CPu system, further streamlining operations.

On March 15, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., Jadranski pomorski servis (JPS) celebrated the expansion of its tugboat fleet with the addition of two new ships, “Moretto” and “Gea,” at the Karolina Riječka Pier. Dignitaries including Croatian Government Vice President and Minister of the Sea, Transport, and Infrastructure Oleg Butković attended, along with representatives from the Port of Rijeka Authority, Primorsko-Goranska County, the City of Rijeka, SCAFI Group, and JPS.
