KTZ and CCCC discussed new infrastructure projects in Beijing.

Gebrüder Weiss expands logistics services in Poland.

The international logistics company Gebrüder Weiss is expanding its presence in Poland from 2025. Customers will now be able to benefit not only from air and sea freight services, which have been available since 2020, but also from domestic and international LTL and FTL transport. The company also offers warehousing and logistics solutions, including order picking. All processes can be monitored in real time via the myGW portal, which also provides access to digital documents. With the expansion, the Gebrüder Weiss team in Poland will increase to 70 employees.

China to invest 1 billion yuan in logistics hub in Kazakhstan.

The leadership of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of China has decided to allocate 1 billion yuan (137.3 million dollars) for the construction of a transport and logistics hub in Kazakhstan. The issue was discussed in Urumqi at a meeting between Ma Xingrui, member of the Politburo of the CPC Central Committee and Secretary of the CPC of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, and Nurlan Sauranbayev, Chairman of the Board of JSC NC KTZ. The parties noted the record growth in rail transportation between the countries – in 2024, the volume reached 32 million tons.

The 87th session of the UNECE Inland Transport Committee (ITC) was held in Geneva, which became key in the implementation of the Strategy until 2030. The event was attended by representatives of more than 20 countries, including Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Turkey, EU countries, as well as international organizations and businesses. The main topics of discussion were transport policy, economic cooperation and sustainable development of the industry.
