The CIS and the EAEU will develop a plan for the development of transport corridors until 2030.

The CIS Executive Committee and the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) agreed to develop a plan of joint activities for the development of transport corridors until 2030. At the meeting, EEC Minister of Energy and Infrastructure Arzybek Kozhoshev and Chairman of the Executive Committee of the CIS Coordination Transport Conference Gennady Bessonov discussed expanding cooperation within the framework of the Agreement on the coordinated development of international transport corridors in the territory of the CIS and the EAEU.

Ukraine and the EU signed a memorandum on railway integration.

Ukraine signed a Memorandum with the European Railway Agency (ERA) aimed at integrating the Ukrainian railway system into the European space. The agreement provides for close cooperation in matters of technical harmonization of the railway systems of Ukraine and the EU, as well as expert and technical support for adaptation to European standards.

KAZLOGISTICS and HAFFA signed a memorandum to strengthen transport links.

During the Hong Kong – Kazakhstan briefing, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Union of Transport Workers of Kazakhstan “KAZLOGISTICS” and the Hong Kong Freight Forwarding and Logistics Association (HAFFA). The cooperation is aimed at developing bilateral export-import and transit transportation, increasing the coordination of logistics operations, reducing the time and cost of transportation, and improving the quality of services provided.

The construction of the second route “Dostyk-Moiynty” is 60% complete: the throughput capacity will increase fivefold.

The construction of the second track of the Dostyk-Moiynty railway line is nearing completion: 60% of the work has been completed so far. The project involves more than 1,000 people and 500 pieces of equipment. The work is being carried out under the supervision of Zhangeldy Asmiev, who is responsible for laying the road between Koktuma and Zhaipak.

HHLA TK Estonia introduces innovations and sustainable solutions at the Muuga terminal.

HHLA TK Estonia, a subsidiary of Hamburger Hafen und Logistik AG, is starting the grain season with innovations in handling and storage at the Muuga Port Terminal. The company has expanded its capacity by building three new storage bays and improving the automated entry and weighing systems. The largest warehouse operator in the region now offers a variety of pellet and grain storage options. The terminal has 86,500 m² of specialised indoor storage space and extensive outdoor areas. This expansion will enable the handling of up to 500,000 tonnes of cargo per year, strengthening the company’s position in the Baltic logistics sector.
