Over the weekend, the Port of Koper welcomed the historic arrival of the CMA CGM SCANDOLO, marking the first-ever LNG-powered ship to dock at the port. Among CMA CGM’s fleet, the SCANDOLO is one of 35 ships already powered by LNG, with plans to increase this number to 120 by 2028. This strategic shift aims to slash CO2 emissions by up to 20% compared to traditional fuel-powered vessels.
