DHL Express officially opened its new international hub at Barcelona-El Prat Airport. The €80 million project, completed in less than two years, is the company’s largest investment in the region. The new facility can handle over 20,000 shipments per hour—seven times its previous capacity—and will accommodate the growing volume of international express deliveries and strengthen Barcelona’s position in DHL’s global network.

Starting October 1, German seaports will begin a digital procedure for releasing imported containers through the German Ports IT platform, called Secure Release Order (SRO).
