Craiss Generation Logistik GmbH & Co. KG officially broke ground on its future headquarters in the Ziegelhöhe district of Mühlacker. The groundbreaking ceremony marked the start of the project, attended by company management, architects, designers, Mühlacker Mayor Frank Schneider, and district administrator Bastian Rosenau. General contractor Rommel plans to complete construction by spring 2027, after which all company administrative departments will gradually move into the new complex.

Company management emphasizes that the new office is being designed with the future and employee comfort in mind. Managing partner Michael Craiss noted that the building was designed in collaboration with his children and is intended to be a place where the team can work and develop. Particular attention has been paid to shared creative areas, cafeterias, and stairways as integrated social spaces, which will strengthen corporate unity and create an attractive workspace amid a shortage of qualified specialists.

The new headquarters will be built to KfW 40 energy efficiency standard, using clinker bricks, a solar photovoltaic system, and an air-to-water heat pump. The total office space will be 5,000 square meters, divided equally between the Craiss and Administrative District. For the first time in 15 years, all of the company’s administrative functions will be consolidated in a single location, integrating organizational processes and creating a modern, sustainable, and employee-friendly workspace.
