A working meeting was held in Warsaw within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine and the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries of the Republic of Korea. The Head of the International Relations Department Oleksiy Panasyuk took part from the State Enterprise “Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority” (USPA). The central topic was the presentation of the report on the “Master Plan and Feasibility Study for the Reconstruction of Ukrainian Ports”.
The presented plan provides for the modernization of port infrastructure, renewal of the specialized fleet and the introduction of electronic management systems. Its implementation will integrate Ukrainian seaports into European transport chains and strengthen the role of Ukraine as a key logistics hub in the Black Sea region.
Following the meeting, the parties signed a protocol confirming their readiness to work together on projects, including finding sources of funding and identifying practical steps for the restoration and development of Ukrainian ports.
