The project is designed to support future maintenance, transshipment, and storage needs, particularly for the company’s key customer and direct neighbour, Audi Hungaria.
DB Cargo Hungária has commenced construction work to expand and modernise its terminal infrastructure in Győr.
The investment includes the installation of 120 metres of new track, the construction of a maintenance pit for both locomotives and wagons, and the development of a new maintenance hall covering approximately 1,000 square metres. The site is located in the Győr-Moson-Sopron region, an area with increasing demand for rail freight and automotive logistics services.

This development also supports the company’s Battery Logistics Center, which is expected to handle higher volumes soon. Completion is scheduled by the end of 2025.
