The railway industry of Kazakhstan demonstrates steady growth: today there are 154 passenger routes in the country, 112 of which are served by JSC Passenger Transportation. The remaining routes are distributed between private operators (30 routes) and international routes (12 routes). In the first six months of 2025, 9.5 million passengers were transported by rail. As part of the rolling stock renewal since the beginning of the year, the fleet has been replenished with 60 new cars.
Active development is also observed in civil aviation. Domestic air transportation covers 61 routes with a frequency of 849 flights per week. International traffic includes 144 routes and 842 flights per week to 31 countries, including Turkey, Germany, China, the UAE, Great Britain and South Korea. Since the beginning of the year, 7.2 million passengers have used air transport.
Thus, JSC Passenger Transportation continues to strengthen its position in the country’s transport system, providing convenient and modern communication both within Kazakhstan and abroad.
