In May 2025, the port of Kuryk reached a record transshipment volume since the beginning of its operation – 267 thousand tons. This is 7% higher than the previous maximum recorded in June 2023 (251 thousand tons).
The key positions in the cargo structure were grain crops, mainly barley, oil products (including fuel oil) and chemical products. The growth of indicators indicates high demand for exports via the Caspian direction.
Record results confirm the strategic importance of the port of Kuryk for the development of Kazakhstan’s transit potential and strengthening its position on international logistics routes.
