Belgorod-Dnistrovsky Sea Port signed a memorandum with APM Terminals Poti, the operator of the largest seaport in Georgia and a division of the global logistics company Maersk. This is the first such agreement of the Ukrainian port, aimed at developing cooperation within the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR), also known as the Middle Corridor.
The partnership plans to launch a new ferry route between two private ports, as well as create a modern automobile and rail ferry complex in Belgorod-Dnistrovsky. The project is being developed by the new owner of the Ukrainian port, taking into account the requirements for handling cargo traveling along the “Middle Corridor”.

The main goal of the memorandum is to attract transit cargo flow through the territory of Ukraine along the new Bessarabia Route (Ukraine – Moldova – Romania), as well as to form a stable logistics partnership between the ports of Belgorod-Dnistrovsky and Poti.
