American logistics operator AIT Worldwide Logistics has announced the acquisition of Miami-based GSDMIA, strengthening its capabilities in key markets including Asia, Europe, Latin America and the United States.
The deal expands AIT’s expertise in air and ocean logistics, particularly in niches such as cosmetics, climate control and high-tech equipment, areas in which GSDMIA has extensive experience.
GSDMIA co-founders Wenzel Lewinsky and Joao Rios have joined AIT’s Miami office as Heads of Sales and Operations, strengthening the team with six decades of combined experience.
“This will allow us to take customized logistics solutions to an even higher level,” Rios said.
