Kazakhstan’s national carrier Air Astana has extended its long-term partnership with Jettainer, a company specializing in the management of cargo containers and pallets (ULDs). The cooperation, which began in 2007, will play a key role in ensuring operational efficiency amid the airline’s rapid growth.

By 2028, Air Astana plans to increase its fleet to 80 aircraft, including modern Boeing 787s, which will require more flexible and customized solutions in ULD management. These are the services that Jettainer will offer, adapting its technology to the growing and changing needs of the carrier.

According to Air Astana’s Director of Ground Handling, Berik Abdrakhmanov, Jettainer’s innovative approach helps the company confidently move towards scaling. In response, Jettainer CEO Jan-Wilhelm Breithaupt emphasized that Air Astana’s trust confirms the reliability and high adaptability of their services.
