CSP Iberian Valencia Terminal has ordered seven hybrid RTG cranes from Konecranes, strengthening its commitment to the green modernization of its port equipment. The new units will join 11 similar cranes already in operation in Valencia and Bilbao, reducing fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions.
The cranes are equipped with advanced technologies, including an “active load control” system, collision avoidance and protection against truck lift, which improves the efficiency and safety of operations. According to Gustavo Ferrer Soriano, CEO of CSP Iberian Valencia, this investment is another step towards zero emissions in the company’s ports.
The equipment is scheduled to be delivered in March 2026, allowing CSP Iberian Valencia to accelerate the transition to low-carbon technologies and improve the sustainability of its port operations.
