The Kuryk port continues to increase cargo handling volumes, and in 2025, it is expected to handle about 2.45 million tons. Large-scale infrastructure modernization projects are planned, which will speed up ship handling and improve the efficiency of handling operations.
In 2024, almost 2 million tons of cargo passed through the Kuryk port, of which the main part was rail transportation – 1,150,600 tons. 781,300 tons were transported by road, and 25,900 tons were processed through the grain terminal. The total transshipment volume at the port reached 1,957,800 tons.
The introduction of new technologies and the development of port capacities will allow the Kuryk port to become an important hub of the region’s transport and logistics system, increasing throughput capacity and speeding up cargo handling. In the coming years, the port will continue to modernize, which will ensure an increase in transshipment volumes and an improvement in logistics processes.
