Swiss transport and logistics company Georges Riederer has added the first fully electric Renault Trucks E-Tech T4x2 to its fleet. The new 40-tonne tractor with a 540 kWh battery has a range of up to 350 km on a single charge and will operate on routes throughout Switzerland.
With the addition of the new truck, Georges Riederer’s fleet has grown to 83 vehicles. The company specializes in the transport of general cargo, partial and full loads, and also provides services in the pharmaceutical, food, crane and courier sectors.
In addition to transport services, Georges Riederer offers warehousing solutions, including block, rack and multi-level storage. The introduction of the electric tractor underlines the company’s commitment to innovation and environmental sustainability.
