As of December 10, 2024, the seaports of Ukraine handled 91.1 million tons of cargo, according to the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority (USPA). In January-November, the actual volume of cargo handling reached 89.9 million tons, which is 70% higher than the same period in 2023, when 52.8 million tons were handled.

The bulk of cargo turnover was made up of grain crops – 56.1 million tons, which is significantly more than 39.4 million tons in 2023, as well as ore cargo – 16.7 million tons against only 3.2 million tons a year earlier. The Ukrainian corridor played a significant role in the growth of transshipment, through which 73.4 million tons of cargo were transported in 11 months, including 6.5 million tons in November alone.

In November 2024, seaports handled 7.6 million tons of cargo, exceeding last year’s figure for the same month (6.7 million tons). These results demonstrate the sustainable renewal of Ukrainian port infrastructure and its role in international logistics.
