LTG Cargo has completed its first delivery from Austria.

Lithuanian freight operator LTG Cargo has successfully completed the first rail delivery from Austria to Lithuania. The special cargo was transported along the European gauge from Leoben-Donawitz via Austria, the Czech Republic and Poland. The main part of the route through Poland was organized by the subsidiary LTG Cargo Polska.

The train consisted of 25 wagons, which contained 642 tons of new rails. The cargo is intended for the railway infrastructure operator LTG Infra, which uses the rails for track repair and maintenance.

The volume of the shipment allows for the construction of a railway section almost 10 kilometers long. This delivery demonstrates LTG Cargo’s capabilities in organizing complex international logistics projects.
