In 2024, more than 7,500 trains passed through the Khorgos station in the direction of “China – Europe”, which is 11.2% more than last year. As of the end of November, 7,770 trains passed through the station in both directions, ahead of schedule by almost 36 days.
The increased efficiency is ensured by the coordinated work of loading and unloading processes on the border of China and Kazakhstan. On average, more than 22 trains pass through the station daily. Regular meetings with representatives of Kazakhstan allow us to promptly resolve issues related to transportation.
“Currently, the number of China – Europe trains passing through our station is maintained at an average of more than 22 per day. We regularly meet with representatives of Kazakhstan to discuss and resolve issues limiting the efficiency of China’s transportation. Since this year, both the quality and quantity of China – Europe trains have improved. The monthly volume of train traffic has remained above 600,” said Yu Rong, Deputy Director of the Production Safety Management Center of the Khorgos station.
