In the first nine months of 2024, the Dostyk operational wagon depot achieved significant improvements in the safety and efficiency of wagon maintenance, reducing the number of accidents and increasing throughput. During this time, 39,672 trains were inspected, which is 4.6% more than in the same period last year, and 132,065 wagons were delivered for loading, which is 16.4% higher than in 2023.
To improve the reliability of operation, 22 KTSM-02 automatic control systems were introduced, which checked more than 126,900 trains, helping to promptly identify faults. A total of 96 trains were stopped due to heating of units and other faults, which significantly reduced the delay time.
The depot continues to improve the qualifications of personnel, and also introduces organizational and technical measures for accident-free operation. Deputy Head of the Depot Bolat Mukhamediyev emphasized that the achieved results are the merit of the entire team and a guarantee of further growth and improved safety in the future.
