Astana hosted a meeting of the Netherlands-Kazakhstan Business Council, where one of the sessions was devoted to transport and logistics issues. The event was attended by representatives of JSC NC KTZ, including Deputy General Director for Logistics of JSC KTZ Express Aibek Kapar.
In his speech, Kapar discussed current trends in transportation along the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR) and its prospects. He said that the company plans to expand its presence in the countries of the European Union through the implementation of new projects, such as the development of a network of cargo terminals in the ports of Baku, Constanta and Budapest.
According to Aibek Kapar, these initiatives will help reduce the time of cargo delivery between Asia and Europe, reduce logistics costs and strengthen Kazakhstan’s position as an important transit hub on the Silk Road.
