Representatives of Aktau International Airport visited Port Kuryk LLP to get acquainted with the infrastructure of the ferry complex and its activities. The visit was aimed at strengthening interaction between the transport hubs of the region and studying the potential for joint development.
In his address to the people, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted the key role of the development of air hubs and airports in the country. He emphasized that the annual volume of air cargo handling in Kazakhstan is about 150 thousand tons, and in the next four years this figure can be doubled, creating all the conditions for the expansion of cargo transportation.
The President paid special attention to the development of the domestic air route network and the improvement of infrastructure at tourist sites, which should be an important step in increasing transport accessibility and strengthening the country’s logistics potential.
