CRAISS Group is making strides in international logistics by introducing innovative vehicle configurations for more economical route planning. Among these innovations is the double-decker megatrailer with closure rails, designed to efficiently transport non-stackable goods. This advancement aligns with CRAISS’s commitment to maximizing capacity and efficiency in its transport services.

On 6 June 2024, CRAISS announced the expansion of its foreign routes, integrating a fixed connection from its Hungarian site through Germany to Portugal. This new route is a result of cooperation with a German customer, enabling the logistics expert to run weekly journeys with a team of three drivers. This move is part of CRAISS’s internationalisation strategy, which includes plans for a new site in western Hungary.

Previously focused on the flow of goods between Eastern European suppliers and the German automotive industry, the new route spans over 6,000 kilometres and is one of the longest in CRAISS’s timetable. Trucks depart from Hungary every Friday, with the first driver handling the freight within Hungary before handing it over to two main drivers who transport it to Portugal via Germany. The round-trip journey lasts eight days, from Friday to the following Saturday, with optional stops. Additionally, CRAISS’s Hungarian team has expanded from 20 to 41 employees, continuously enhancing its service range with custom transport solutions.
