MSC has announced the launch of a new service, Britannia, which will provide enhanced port connections along a unique corridor from China and Vietnam to Liverpool.
The new route provides access to the port of Vung Tau, creating direct connections to Liverpool and MSC hubs in Rotterdam, Antwerp and Hamburg, linking Scandinavia and the Baltics.
The first vessel to set sail will be the MSC DENISSE X on July 1st under voyage number QB427W. The full route is as follows: Shanghai – Ningbo – Yantian – Vung Tau – Liverpool – Rotterdam – Antwerp – Hamburg – London Gateway – Singapore – Shanghai.
