The Zhetygen Transport and Logistics Center (TLC) is introducing a new end-to-end multimodal service, accepting the first import container trains from central China to Kazakhstan. This service, carried out jointly with CRCT, KTZE and Eastcomtrans, ensures fast delivery of goods through the Zhetygen TLC.
Modern railway infrastructure and the automated TOS control system of the Zhetygen TLC make it possible to efficiently process containers, providing accurate forecasts for cargo delivery times. Representatives of Eastcomtrans LLP plan to increase the volume of transportation to 20 container trains monthly within the framework of this service.
In addition, a unique terminal for transshipment of bulk cargo was launched at the Zhetygen TLC, which became the first in Central Asia. The ceremonial arrival of the first trains with the participation of high-ranking representatives noted the importance of this new stage in the development of Kazakhstan’s logistics infrastructure.
