At the Sóstó industrial park in Székesfehérvár, ÖBB Rail Cargo Group (RCG) welcomed LX Pantos, a global logistics player, in a momentous event. RCG Board Member Christoph Grasl passed the symbolic key for the Logisztár terminal to Jeonghwan Woo, Head of LX Pantos’ European Business Group, amidst a gathering of 90 distinguished guests. This collaboration aims to capitalize on business opportunities in automotive and battery transport across Eastern Europe, leveraging the combined logistics expertise and specialized knowledge of both partners.
Spanning 36,000 square meters, equivalent to five football pitches, the Logisztár terminal near Székesfehérvár boasts two 360-meter-long tracks. This strategic infrastructure will cater to the intricate logistical demands of Hungary’s electric car industry, simultaneously advancing the nation’s economic objectives. Positioned ideally and easily accessible, the terminal serves as a hub for complex logistics operations, aligning perfectly with the region’s evolving transportation needs.
