KTZ Express, in collaboration with the Pakistani company National Logistics Cell, has launched a new pilot project of a multimodal export route from Kazakhstan to the UAE. This route passes through Uzbekistan, Afghanistan and Pakistan, and then the cargo is delivered by sea to the port of Jebel Ali.
Kazakh exporters have already taken advantage of this multimodal transit corridor, sending cargo from the Pavlodar region by rail and then loading it into containers in Almaty for onward transport through Pakistan.
The cooperation provides for transit through Uzbekistan and Afghanistan to the port of Karachi, from where the cargo is sent by sea to the UAE.
