Rhenus Ireland has unveiled its latest venture with the opening of a state-of-the-art facility in Dublin. Situated strategically at the heart of the city’s transportation network, the new site, spanning 11,150 square meters, signifies a substantial expansion for Rhenus Ireland, boasting enhanced storage capabilities to serve a diverse range of industries.
The inauguration of the facility, celebrated with an open day on March 27th, welcomed esteemed clients, suppliers, and local council representatives. Attendees were treated to an exclusive preview of the cutting-edge warehouse and office spaces, equipped to LEED gold standard and featuring advanced amenities such as dock levellers, temperature-controlled chambers, and an in-rack sprinkler system. Operated by a team of 65 experienced professionals, the facility will cater to various sectors, including energy management, healthcare, retail, automotive, and more.
This milestone follows Rhenus Ireland’s recent expansion endeavors, including the doubling of capacity at the Parkmore campus in Galway and the acquisition of Source & Supply Logistics in 2021. With a comprehensive suite of services ranging from freight logistics to supply chain design solutions, Rhenus Ireland reaffirms its commitment to delivering excellence and driving business success for its clientele across diverse industries.
