OOCL has announced the launch of a new service, the China Indonesia Service (CIS3), which will strengthen the coverage of the carrier’s intra-Asia network and enhance connectivity between ports in South China and key ports in Indonesia.
The service is scheduled to commence operations on May 16, 2026, providing a direct and reliable link between major export hubs in South China and the Indonesian ports of Jakarta and Surabaya. This will help reduce transit times and improve the efficiency of container shipping along this route.
The port rotation for the CIS3 service will be as follows: Xiamen – Nansha – Jakarta – Surabaya – Yantian – Xiamen.
