Rohlig SUUS Logistics has opened a subsidiary in Uzbekistan.

Logistics operator Rohlig SUUS Logistics continues to expand its presence in Central Asia and has announced the opening of a new subsidiary in Uzbekistan. The new office has commenced operations in Tashkent, marking the company’s next strategic step following its entry into the Kazakhstani market. SUUS noted that this decision is driven by Central Asia’s growing role in international trade and increased business interest in the region’s emerging markets.

The Uzbekistan division will provide a comprehensive range of logistics services, including international road transport, domestic distribution of FTL and LTL shipments, sea, rail, and air freight, intermodal solutions, warehousing logistics, and customs clearance. The company intends to combine its own expertise with Röhlig’s global network and collaborations with local partners. Andrzej Kozłowski, a Board Member at Rohlig SUUS Logistics, noted that amidst the current geopolitical landscape, companies are seeking to diversify their operations and enter new markets, and Central Asia holds significant potential for further growth.

SUUS emphasizes that Uzbekistan currently boasts one of the fastest-growing economies in the region and is the most populous nation in Central Asia, with a population of approximately 38 million. According to Erik Aitzhanov, Managing Director of SUUS Logistics in Uzbekistan, international companies are increasingly entering the Uzbek market and require reliable logistics partners with local expertise. Currently, Rohlig SUUS Logistics operates across nine markets in Central and Eastern Europe and Central Asia – including Kazakhstan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan – while the company’s network comprises over 40 branches and more than 2,600 employees.
