The Odesa branch of the State Enterprise “Administration of Sea Ports of Ukraine” has announced an open tender for the execution of construction works on the modernization of berth No. 7 of the Odesa Sea Port. The cost of the project is estimated at more than UAH 539 million, and the reconstruction is planned to be completed by December 31, 2027.
The project provides for an increase in the length of the berth from 357.4 to 386.5 meters, deepening of the water area, expansion of the structural width and an increase in the permissible load on the storage areas from 10 to 20 tons per square meter. These changes will increase the throughput capacity to 2 million tons of cargo per year.
According to AMPU calculations, the modernization of the berth will bring more than UAH 100 million in additional income annually and create conditions for attracting more cargo flows to the Odesa port.
