ASCO took part in the meeting of the Working Group on the Development of the Trans-Caspian Route in Ankara.

A meeting of the Working Group on the Development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route was held in Ankara. Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company (ASCO), a subsidiary of AZCON Holding, participated. The company’s delegation was led by Tariel Mirzayev, Deputy Chairman of the Board of ASCO, who presented the carrier’s position on key issues related to the route’s development.

During the meeting, participants summarized the TITR’s performance for the first ten months of 2025, reviewed freight traffic trends, and discussed measures to more fully utilize the corridor’s transit potential. Particular attention was paid to ensuring stable and efficient freight delivery, as well as coordinating approaches to the further development of multimodal transportation on the Caspian route.

Furthermore, consultations were held during the meeting on maintaining current tariff rates for transportation along the TITR in 2026. The parties also exchanged views on the digitalization of processes, optimization of container shipping, regulation of vessel loading, and the preparation of documents providing for technological cooperation in the field of container logistics.
