Aviator Airport Alliance, the largest independent ground handling provider in Northern Europe and part of the Avia Solutions Group, signed its first contract with Tunisian airline Nouvelair for ground handling services at Helsinki Airport. The agreement came into effect on October 27 and covers a full range of operations, from passenger handling and ramp services to de-icing. Nouvelair operates weekly charter flights between Helsinki and Monastir.
Aviator noted that the new partnership will ensure a high level of safety and efficiency. Kimmo Holopainen, Managing Director of Aviator Airport Services Finland, emphasized that the Helsinki team guarantees the reliability and quality of service for Nouvelair flights.
Nouvelair CEO Zarrad Chokri stated that the company sees great potential in Tunisia as a destination for Finnish tourists and continues to expand its presence in Finland, relying on a trusted partner. Founded in 1989, Nouvelair is Tunisia’s second-largest carrier, operating an Airbus A320/A320neo fleet and flying between Europe and North Africa, including partnerships with other Avia Solutions Group companies.
