Aviator Airport Alliance, part of the Avia Solutions Group, has entered into a three-year agreement with Icelandair to provide ground handling services for the airline’s flights at Copenhagen (CPH), Stockholm Arlanda (ARN) and Gothenburg (GOT) airports. Aviator has previously successfully handled Icelandair’s flights to Helsinki (HEL), which has strengthened the airline’s trust in the partner.

As part of the new partnership, Aviator will provide a full range of services for flights on Boeing 757, Boeing 737 and the latest Airbus A321LR aircraft. The annual number of departures is expected to be around 1,350 from Copenhagen, 525 from Stockholm and 22 from Gothenburg, providing important transatlantic connections via Iceland to North America.

The ground handling contracts for Icelandair at ARN and GOT will commence at the end of October, and at CPH at the beginning of November, strengthening Aviator’s position in the Nordic region.
