The first transhipment of an ocean container ship took place at the new T3 berth in the Port of Gdansk — Baltic Hub received the MSC Stacey, a vessel with a length of almost 366 meters and a capacity of 15,000 TEU. The visit took place on March 30 as part of a side event and became an important milestone in the implementation of the large-scale T3 project.

By starting test operations, Baltic Hub confirmed the readiness of the new infrastructure to receive the largest vessels in the world. This strengthens the position of the Port of Gdansk as a key logistics hub in the Baltic and emphasizes the importance of the project for the development of the entire Pomeranian region.

The transhipment was carried out using modern STS cranes — the main element of the T3 terminal, ensuring high efficiency and safety of operations. The full launch of the terminal is scheduled for the end of 2025, but its potential for increasing throughput and further expanding the capabilities of Baltic Hub is already evident.
