Construction of the innovative multimodal transport terminal “Fishka Nov” has begun in the Chernivtsi region. The main functionality of the terminal is to carry out transshipments with the possibility of simultaneous servicing of freight cars from different tracks: Ukrainian (1520 mm) and European (1435 mm). Additionally, the terminal allows you to efficiently move cargo between vehicles and wagons.
One of the key features of the new facility is its ability to unload freight wagons on five 1,520mm wide tracks at a capacity of 1,000 tonnes per hour, as well as load European track wagons at a similar capacity. An important aspect is the use of bins with strain gauges, which ensures precise control of the weight of the cargo when loading wagons.
