Logistics operator DACHSER will open a new hub for the transport and storage of industrial and consumer goods in Ingolstadt, Germany, in June 2025. Around 90 new jobs will be created as a result. On 14 October, a symbolic groundbreaking ceremony was held, during which two facilities were presented: a 6,500 m² terminal with 76 loading gates and a 6,770 m² warehouse with space for 17,000 pallets.
The construction project is being implemented by developer VIB Vermögen AG, which will lease the complex to DACHSER on a long-term basis. The new 50,800 m² facility will be located next to the A9 motorway connecting Munich and Nuremberg. Parking spaces for trucks and light commercial vehicles are also planned.

Environmental standards were taken into account during the construction of the facility: it is planned to install a green roof and facade, switch to electric mobility and obtain the Gold Certificate of the German Green Building Council (DGNB). Solar panels will be placed on the roof, which will power electric vehicles and warehouse lighting.
