Ellerman City Liners has introduced a new weekly short-haul service, iPEX 3, directly connecting Gdynia, Poland, with Bilbao, Spain. This service is designed to meet the growing needs of European trade and offers customers the fastest transit times, operating through congestion-free ports and ensuring seamless cargo handling.
The Gdynia – Bilbao – Gdynia route is complemented by sophisticated multimodal logistics: the company provides rail connections to key inland hubs such as Madrid, Tarragona, and Łódź. This allows shippers to create flexible, turnkey solutions with minimal delays throughout the supply chain.
At the same time, the launch of iPEX 3 underscores Ellerman City Liners’ commitment to sustainability: switching to sea freight instead of road transport reduces CO₂ emissions by more than 50%.
“We are pleased to expand the Poland Express network and strengthen our short-haul offering,” – noted Peter Andrews.
The new service is part of the company’s strategic investments in innovative and sustainable logistics solutions.
