More than 200 French companies are actively operating in the Kazakhstan market, including TotalEnergies, Alstom, Danone, Airbus and others. Joint projects include the production of locomotives, solar power plants and processing of agricultural products.

At the end of 2023, trade turnover between the countries amounted to $4.2 billion, of which $2.9 billion came from Kazakhstan’s exports. In 2024, $4 billion has already been reached in eight months – 44.7% more than in the same period last year. New agreements in the fields of energy, transport, ecology and digitalization were also signed within the framework of the forum.
